We are building overhead lines in Hofors!

A project is currently underway in Hofors where we are rebuilding an overhead line for Vattenfall.

The reason for the redevelopment is that capacity must be increased due to expanded wind farms nearby. There are a total of 7 steel posts and 4 wooden posts to be replaced and this will be done in 2 periods.

The reason why all work cannot be done during a period, which was the original plan, is that the large industry Ovako in Hofors does not have the opportunity to have a break in its production for as many weeks as would then be required in the summer of 2021. Therefore, it has instead chosen to divide the work into two periods instead.

In the spring of 2021, we carried out preparatory groundwork on site.

The first period of rebuilding will be completed in the summer of 2021 and the second period in the summer of 2022.
